LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization)

Another name for GEO, with the emphasis on language models and their training memory.

LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) is one of the names given to the discipline that makes a company present in the answers of large language models. Compared with GEO, it stresses the models' training memory: what ChatGPT or Claude "know" about a company even without browsing the web.

In practice the activities coincide with GEO. The useful distinction is another one: answers based on memory only change with new training runs, those based on browsing change in weeks. A serious plan works on both.
