Wikidata

Wikimedia's free, structured knowledge base, read by all models and at the base of the Knowledge Graph.

Wikidata is the free, structured knowledge base of the Wikimedia Foundation: millions of items (people, companies, places, products) described with machine-readable properties. It feeds Google's Knowledge Graph and is present in the training data of the large models.

Unlike Wikipedia, it does not require encyclopaedic notability: almost any company with a registration number and a public presence can have an entry, with industry, headquarters, founding, leadership, website, profiles and identifiers, each with a source. Creating or completing the entry is one of the few GEO interventions that acts on all engines at once. The practical guide is in the article Wikidata for companies.
